The IMC Media Cataloger organizes, finds and retrieves graphics, movie, sound and text files for use in other applications. The Media Cataloger allows users to create visual catalogs of files and attach key words to objects. Once a catalog is created, the product can quickly search for and retrieve files based on criteria defined by the user. This demo version of the product does not allow you to SAVE your catalogs and it does not allow you to OPEN catalogs created with the full version of the product.

CHANGES FROM VERSION 1.0
A Claris XTND Translator has now been added to support Photoshop file formats. The formats supported are RGB color, Indexed color and Gray scale files.
A new option, “Ignore Aliases” has been added which appears in the dialog box when you choose the “Add Object” command from the “Catalog” Menu. When a folder or volume is highlighted, this check box will be highlighted and checked. Aliases are special files that point to other files, folders or volumes. If aliases are processed rather than ignored, these objects will be added to the catalog. This leads to the potential duplication of objects in the catalog. If you want to include aliased files, folders and volumes in your catalog, uncheck this box.
Sound objects can now be played from the catalog by double clicking on them. You can also play the sound object by selecting the Play Sound menu item, or by pressing Command-B.
Features available in Versions 1.0 and 1.1 but omitted from the manual.
Photo CD files are supported by both version 1.0 and version 1.1
Balloon Help is available in both versions of the product.
